The BOTUO story: from one blow molding machine to 13 million pieces a month
We started in 2008 with a handful of machines and one idea: a packaging supplier should be answerable for the whole bottle — shape, closure and print — not just the part it sells.
Why we kept the printing machines in the same building
Most bottle factories mold and then hand decoration to a subcontractor. Every change to a label file becomes a truck movement and a week of waiting. We bought the presses instead: six screen printing machines and four labeling machines now sit beside the molding hall.
The result is unglamorous but useful — artwork is proofed on a real bottle from your mold, color is matched under the same lights as production, and a faulty print is caught before the carton is sealed.
Today we serve brands in skincare, hair care, household cleaning, car care and salon products. Many of them started with a 5,000-piece trial order.
- One site — molding, printing, assembly, inspection and packing
- One contact — the sales engineer who quotes your job owns it until it ships
- One standard — the same QC checklist for a trial order and a full container

How the plant grew
2008 — the first workshop
Botuo Packaging opens in Hengli, Dongguan, molding HDPE bottles for local detergent and shampoo brands.
2013 — injection molding added
Caps, jars and closures come in-house, so the bottle and its closure are matched before the sample is sent.
2017 — decoration lines
Silk screen printing, hot stamping and labeling installed; the BOTUO own brand is registered the same year.
2020 — export compliance
FDA, REACH and RoHS testing becomes standard for export orders, with DDP/DDU shipping to US and EU warehouses.
2024 — eco range
Wheat straw, PCR and mono-material ranges expand as brands move away from virgin plastic.
Three things we hear most
“We need a bottle nobody else has.”
Send a sketch or a competitor sample. We return a drawing in about a week and a printed 3D model in another.
“Our volumes are small at first.”
Stock molds start at 5,000 pieces. Start with a stock shape in your color, then cut a mold when the product proves itself.
“The last supplier's caps leaked.”
We supply bottle and closure together and leak-test the assembly, so responsibility is not split between two vendors.
